Tsukihime > Fate/Stay Night. Play the visual novel if you can find and/or run it. Alternatively watch the anime if you can find it - the one from the 2000s, if possible as that's closer to the visual novel.

I know there's an OG PC release but Mahoyo spoiled me so I'm expecting similar cinematic feel from the PS4 version.

EDIT: I thought people hated anime's guts though, being so bad to the point where people would pretend it doesn't exist.

I don't know if other people disliked the Tsukihime anime, but I do know that sometimes people get rather vehement about their dislike of some adaptations. Like how the adaptation of Shuffle! turned the supportive childhood friend into an unlovable yandere, or how the adaptation of the Endless Eight arc in season two of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya saw people burning their merchandise and sending threats to Kyoani.

If anything that bit of arson was inevitable given their track record. Then again, the only value Kyoani has ever added to the world is the adaptation of Lucky Star.

Back to Tsukihime, I played the original way back in the day. I think I might still have it plus the fan translation on a CD or DVD somewhere. Along with some other oldies like Brass Restoration, True Remembrance and LEAVEs. Also May Sky, which is where I first saw the term newhalf.

Course that rabbit hole is another tangent entirely and not one I'm willing to go on about here.
