Best mouse to get for gaming/office work?
I've been wanting to get a new gaming mouse but also have it work for office types of tasks as well. My friend owns a Glorious Model O gaming mouse and he uses it with regular daily tasks on his PC and I've wanted to get a Logitech MX Master 3S because of the ergonomic design and also because it has a metal scroll wheel which means it won't be worn out after long-term use unlike a rubber/plastic scroll wheel. On top of that, it's wireless and you plug it in to charge, which is also something I'm looking for. Only thing that might be an issue that's keeping me from purchasing it is that it's apparently slightly heavier than a regular gaming mouse and it might make it difficult for quick precision.

Either way, I'm having a tough time deciding. So I would like to know if anyone could give me a good recommendation or tell me what type of mouse you're using?

Tough, lightweight. Good for both my remote work and gaming.
And by gaming I mean Darktide and DOTA 2 where I click thousands of times per session.

I like a mouse with 4 buttons on the side, which is hard to come by. I'm currently using the HyperX Pulsefire Raid, which is pretty good. Also the HyperX Elite keyboard, which I really like. After you get used to programmable side buttons, it's hard to go back

I used to always use Logitech, but they got a bit unreliable with double clicking problems. They also don't have a mouse with 4 buttons.

Seemingly Logitech is downsizing to only two buttons which to me in gaming and creation apps is useless. :citizentears:

But to each their own.

what 4 buttons tho?

thing I realised a while back about "fancy buttons" is most games don't recognise them.

only maybe 80% of games can even recognize the "M4" and "M5" inputs; which for reference left click is M1, left click M2, middle click M3... most games don't even recognise those extra buttons tho.

Logitech is toxic chinese junk ... and its sold at prices so high you would think Sony made it to last 50 years.

Good value well built Wireless.

1-ASUS ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint
2-Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro
3-Corsair M65 RGB Ultra

Good value well built wired.

1-Razer Basilisk V3
2-SteelSeries Rival 3
3-Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse

IF you really want Logitech, then do yourself a favor and buy a "Amazon Basis" brand instead. same manufacture and internals, but cost like 5 to 15 dollars.

Lenov basic is also the same manufacturer as logitech, you'll get the same mechanical switchs and optical sensor on an 8 dollar Lenov basic as you will on a Logitech G502 X or Logitech G Pro X Superlight but you won't spend 150 times what they are worth.

You can buy those mice in boxed of 3 for 9.99 on sale, you can buy them in boxes of 40 mice for 69.99

Or you can go buy a single Logitech G Pro X Superlight at walmart for 242.00

If I've helped you to buy 160 mice for the same price as just one Logitech, then please pass it forward.

You're welcome my friends :KneelingBow:

I have yet to find one that has a metal scroll wheel. I've seen so many mice used by other people that have slowly started to break down and have the paint or rubber chip off.

G502. I don't use it anymore, but I sure did love it. It was great for gaming and casual scrolling.

That depends on the point of view.

I've got a Razer Naga V2 Pro and so far this mouse has been absolutely fantastic.

In fact, out of all mice I've had so far this one is my favourite.

I used to have Logitech products, but my experience with them has been less than stellar.

And if you would've actually read the article you'd know that Logitech products are being made in China.

Production facilities were then established in the United States, Taiwan, Hungary and Ireland before being moved to Suzhou, China. As of 2005, the manufacturing operations in China produce approximately half of Logitech's products. The remaining production is outsourced to contract manufacturers and original design manufacturers in Asia.
