There is no need to spell it as, "okay," when you could just simplify it and put an O and a K together.
K is just bad, I'd be texting someone and they just say, "K." Idk but there's something about it that is just bad. Maybe because it's literally just the letter K?
And ok is just simple and pretty commonly used.

If I am feeling lazy I just say ok.
If i am feeling petty and edgy I say k.
Those who reply with K.. Let's just say that I think twice about interacting with them, having more doubts.
If a person doesn't bother replying with full words, then surely just having a conversation or discussion with them is gonna be a bothersome experience for them aswell, if not even worse than that.
