I am sure some do have accounts, at least when they spend money on Steam, it isn't reinvested into the economy and thus the military.
Well someone apparently has a crunchyroll account in there, because they found that the most popular anime in NK 2018 was Citrus

Idk, maybe, sometimes cartoons/shows/media from north korea get some popularity.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squirrel_and_Hedgehog

"Squirrel and Hedgehog is a North Korean animated series made by SEK Studio. Squirrel and Hedgehog is one of the most popular animated series in North Korea. The show was supposedly discontinued in 2012, which was around the time North Korean state television changed its broadcasting schedule, which cut several animated programs along with it. "

I know the internet went crazy for the north Korean fox girl some years back. From said tv cartoon.

I very much doubt it. Considering the penalties for such things in N Korea, I would imagine even the elite do everything they can to stay on the good side of Kim.
You don't think Kim is a gamer though? He looks like he's totally a gamer, he's probably high up on the call of duty leader boards :IzzyMoonbow:
Kim was raised in the west (Switzerland) and played basketball. Yes, he is familiar with western media.

The Washington Post reported in 2009 that Kim Jong Un's school friends recalled he "spent hours doing meticulous pencil drawings of Chicago Bulls superstar Michael Jordan". He was obsessed with basketball and computer games, and was a fan of Jackie Chan action movies.

What do you mean by that?
Most likely Kim and his family have Steam accounts.
This chubby guy is quite positive and most likely does not deny himself entertainment.
♥♥♥♥ NO!!!!
This is NK from space.
The only thing that has been altered in the pic is the addition of the outline of the country.

Come on..
Can't the head of state find a way to get around these restrictions? It's easy to get around it.
there is probably only ONE N.Korean Steam account and it is hardlined (like a long ass cable) directly with a PC in the border with China.

I doubt ...
why should North Korea train their children into Elites for about 2 decades and then to corrupt them with Steam afterwards . . . by "western ideologies" . . . destroying everything within a day ?? LOYAL Spies on the other hand is a different story . . .

However, the handful of "Elites" live in mansions . . . with lots of food and stuff . . .

In China though, this is an other story . . .

As bad as China is, NK makes them look ultra modern.
China heavily censors internet, but at least they have it. People have access to western music, movies, books, again censored, but that's more than NK.

I would imagine 99% of North Koreans don't even have access to computers.
