Time for another outfit?
Do you always have the same style or do you try new things?
Would you try an outfit change?
Do you often buy new clothes?
Are they more practical or elegant?
Do you have favorite pieces that you want to wear as often as possible?

Yes, there is something to this. Go ahead.
Oh I want to. I would love to. People don't think clothing matters but it's how we present ourselves to the world, how we view ourselves in this world; it's how we express ourselves, different aspects of our personality.

When I used to be more public facing I had a much better wardrobe.
Your online persona strikes as a person always in stealth mode, apparel to match. Could be wrong though.

I'm not sure what Stealth Mode looks like but I'm pretty fashion forward. My elder sister is big on wardrobe aesthetics and I used to help her coordinate her outfits when we were younger; was our way of bonding.

As it stands I'm usually just in boots, black jeans and a black or gray T-shirt, sunglasses and a hat. Accessories go a long way in extending or altering a style as well and I have some jewelry I might wear from time to time.

I used to have a much better selection of clothing but that was when I worked in a more public facing job.I keep meaning to go clothes shopping but there's no brick and mortar stores that really carry my styles and online shopping for clothes seems... terrible.

Fashion is fun. I just don't have the time or social need for anything in depth anymore.

Same. But at some point it wears out.
Yeah, it's mostly just shirts that are left Had to throw out most of the dresses, skirts, and underwear last year and go on a shopping spree. Hardest part is how inconsistent sizes are.

My biggest problem right now is fact that brands started really copying from each others in recent years. I know it was always a problem but from my perspective, they at least tried to have something unique alongside popular.
Harder to find something good (not saying that's impossible) when everyone goes with safe option.
I have one pair of jeans and I have a few hoodies/jackets and a bunch of shirts that I try to match...

I buy clothes super rarely, fashion is not in my budget

Practical clothes most of the time, elegant only during special occasions be it a birthday of a friend or a business meeting, etc.
Edit: As per how often? A few times a year if something catches my eye.

I'm very much into what we call in England "terrace wear" aka "casuals". I buy from time to time, in fact just last night I was looking at gilets...... Designer obviously, as that's what it's all about 😉

That's interesting... and thank you for humoring me. But yes, quite interesting that for me, I wfh but have found by not having an on-site job has afforded me far more freedom in my wardrobe. But different genders perhaps. I can get away with so much more now than ever. And it's also interesting because we may not have that business protocol, we can see more of our natural style, no?

Your style is exactly what I would've expected though. All you'd need is a dark military or trucker jacket. Oh man, I miss polyvore. I'd have outfits for every last one of you. 😆

Getting to the latter part, shopping can be tricky for both men and women. I find that some stores are good for certain things, so unfortunately when I'm shopping, I'll buy from a few different places. But yeah brick and mortar for the most part are going away so much. If you're lucky to have a physical store, there's not much variety, sizes available, it's always like you're at some going-out-of-business sale.

I would love to see you expand upon that. Examples?

I starting to get bigger shirt sizes now, which isn't that big still. I used to wear closer fitting shirts also because of the performance benefit if you are riding on a bicycle. I have a little more upper body strength now probably and I'm a little bit bigger. Closer fitting clothing also makes it easier to feel itchy.
