I just buy clothes I like.
Some are more suitable for certain things than others, like a job interview, depending on the job, I probably wouldn't wear a hoody and joggers, but in the house, in fact that's what I am wearing now, and I look good in them, they are very confy and also warm, very nice
I always just wore t-shirts or sweaters, usually surf company ones, and jeans. One time I went out in a jumper or something and someone asked, "Ooooh have you changed you image?", I replied "F*&^ off!". Changed my image indeed! I bought something that wasn't what they always saw me in, but they always saw me in a rock or indy club!! Idiots :/

How many shirts do you have

A lot of the clothes still fit, and what I like to wear hasn't really changed. Sadly it is getting harder to find skirts that aren't skorts. I don't like wearing shorts.

You sound like you have some class, you should wear what you feel comfortable in, feel good look good, that's the key

its not the right financial climate for too many, if they're not immigrants getting free stuff, they have to settle for whatever the clothes bank gives them that keeps them warm whilst queuing up outside the food bank, it is a crying shame for a lot of people, at least those who are not taking the p1$$ and queuing up just to get something free

Oh for sure, I've been trying a ton of new outfits over the past year or two. My style has changed dramatically from what it once was, I don't think I have a single piece of black clothing where it used to be all I wore.

In my opinion it is important to look presentable while leaving the house. I think most people severely under-dress nowadays, although it has slightly gotten better in recent years; we don't see quite as many people going to the store in their PJs anymore which is good.

Most of my stuff is not new. If you are trying to change up your style I'd recommend looking into places like Goodwill, Savers, Ebay, etc. There is TONS of secondhand clothing there and you can occasionally find a really nice gem among the racks.

Mostly elegant with a mix of practical when needed.

I do have a handful of shirts that are my favorite. Seasonality matters though, I have a ton of really nice merino wool sweaters but I wouldn't dare try wearing them in the middle of summer, and likewise I'm not going to be wearing linen in the dead of winter.

True. Properly caring for clothes becomes incredibly important during times like this. Stretch out the wearability as much as you can. Cool water, not overdoing the detergent, intimates bags, lay flat to dry or low tumble, all that ♥♥♥♥ matters.

I change often but always have "signature" outfits I come back to. I'm more stylish than practical or functional but it comes with my profession as a designer. I tend to wear more lighter or colours since everyone seems to wear black.

Good idea (to find inspiration too). Looking presentable is normal for me. At work anyway of course.

My current employment keeps me isolated so I wear the same thing a lot.

When I used to be more public facing I had a much better wardrobe.
