which story?
name one movie you saw, and what the story was.
I will correct my statement, the movies and TV series are trash.
alright so you didn't see anything, you just feel like you did because of how popular it is. fair enough.
I like J.J. Abrams as far as sci-fi stuff goes. Fringe is top tier. The Star Trek reboot with Chris Pine is good too. Probably why I thought episode 7 was decent. But man did he screw the pooch with The Rise of Skywalker.
I think their twints killing the entire academy is a better story, and the more likely one to occur given how the Force works in the universe.
V caused a social revolution
VI is just great
I is my fav SW (I was 9)
II is my least fav, too much cgi (great OST though)
let's call III a masterpiece
imho George Lucas and John Williams are not artists, they're actually wizards.

I'll leave it there, it just gets worse as it goes.
The Gritty storyline and the dark atmosphere is gripping for an animated series. The Bad Batch is one of the finest Star Wars series i have seen, it really captures the fading hopelessness of the Clones in the face of a rising Imperial threat to the galaxy after the Republic is laid low, and to top it off with the destruction of Tipoca City and the use of children for a secret project, It shows the level of depravity the Empire can achieve which builds up nicely into Rebels and then Rogue One and episodes 4-6.
It really adds to a sense that one can dislike the Empire for how far they are willing to go in this galaxy spanning story over the space of 40 years.
really? I thought people hated bad batch because it was lorebreaking. the empire had several internal rebellions long after the clone phase, mostly because up to that point people had believed they were a revolution of conscience. not palpatine's obvious political organ.
just disnope ruining the series again.
It also add in a buch of interesting characters such as Hondo (who actually feels like a real anti hero and don't turn around like Han Solo), Rex (and various other clone characters) and of course Ahsoka, while developing on the other characters of the clone wars.
The ending of the clone wars is particular well made and get the right feeling that the clone wars was a complete was that could been prevented just if a few small things was changed, like so close to victory and peace but instead end in complete defeat and show how brutal order 66 was by showcasing the clones have their own personality before it and caring about the jedi characters.
Then I think Rebels and The Bad Batch, both focus on smaller characters while fighting against the empire, although The Bad Batch they are more just trying to survive rather than actively fighting against it like the ghost crew does in Rebels. Both show the dystopian nature of the empire and how brutal it really is even long before the time of episode IV and give insight into how the rebellion developed. The characters honestly feels more natural and less forced than in the movies who quickly seems to change when it fits while the characters in the series develop more slowly, probably due to them being much longer.
Also those being animated may help in ways such as showing just how fearsome jedi are not to talk about the villians such as Dooku, Darth Vader and Palpatine.
