Retired boomer opinions.
Home sales and even construction is being crushed now, the consumer is tapped out, and the most vulnerable are revealing the strain as the businesses that rely on them are beginning to tap out.
They can't order anything from amazon because it will get stolen off the door step because your democrats have allowed complete lawlessness to reign.
This is verified by thousands of ring cams, they are brazen, anyone with a ring camera knows this, the neighborhoods feature is incredibly revealing on what actually goes on and isn't reported in crime statistics.
If You put stuff openly onto the doorstep, You can´t really complain that anybody steals it. Would work better if You add a nice sign, and say that it´s something of value in there.
But due to the lack of timing and organization - Americans can´t order stuff any more. Sad story indeed.
Who´s fault is it? The criminals fault obviously...
Military business is booming and only looks to go up, and up, and up.
If you wanna fight half the planet, you need a lot of war jobs, factory jobs, and a war economy.
Or just get a lockable delivery box like any normal sane person would have. You can and should cement those bastards down, too.
If you live in an apartment complex, you should already have access to some and/or the office takes deliveries.
Not how amazon works, you can't schedule time.
Most people aren't at home because they are at school or work, this isn't white glove delivery, its high trust delivery, and under democrats its a low trust society.
Just cocoon bro!!
This is the democrat response to crime, its like the weather, for no reason at all its happening, nothing to do with the Soros DAs and soft on crime policies of democrat governance.
Stuff has been delivered to doorsteps for years, package theft to the point of USPS drivers being hunted is a new thing thanks to democrat worship of open borders and crime.

The democrat has to pretend the criminality they cause is normal, its not normal, there are high trust societies where children can walk alone to school, its not normal, you created a haven for crime because this is what you favor.

Remember when that used to be a cardinal sin?

And before they would also never lay it on the doorstep, but take it with them, and You would have a card in Your mailbox. Then You could call there and for example say that You get it from there - instead of they deliver it to You - again, because You need to earn money as well. And depending on the delivery service You could also have a time window in which they would deliver, so it´s sure You´re at home, while You could track any parcel, so You know when it will come - at which day that it. But time of the day is usually the same for any delivery service...
Most crime isn't reported, as stated if you have a ring camera or are part of any such neighborhood app like "next door", you will see countless incidents that will never make the news or likely even be reported at all.
Businesses don't even report crimes now because it will affect their ability to get/afford insurance.

One, porch pirates are most common in America.
Two, Amazon ships through many different services.
And customers don't get to tell them which service to use.
So let's just continue blaming homeowners for not living in Germany, I guess.
