@ Indians on here.
Do you think it is worth learning Indian language ?

Does this language has future ?

I am seeking to learn an Asian language of a major country, I am not too interested in Chinese, Korean and Chinese but rather in Hindi, Pashtoo, Urdu, Arabic and so on...

What is your take ?

Is there a point in learning for example Hindi ? Since most people in India speak English anyway.

Its is. Hence I said Chinese, which is what I was referring to.
Same as I would be referring to Arabic and not specify levantine or high arabic.

Looks like you aren't even fluent in anything but your native language.

Not surprised here.
Have no need to master another one.

If the need arises, I will.

Yeah, the only language you've mastered is English, which is your native language.

I am speaking English to you not because it's the only language I know, but because you aren't able to speak any language other than English.

Even using a second language that I picked up while playing video games, I rhetorically dominate you. Yet, you think you know anything about languages and their necessity.

The arrogance you've displayed on these forums over the last months or years is astonishing in a very negative way. I genuinely hope that you're just trolling people and this isn't your actual character because if it is, I might start feeling sorry for you instead.

That being said, WHAT exactly have you contributed to this thread? It's just another thread of mine that you've decided to "invade" and "derail" in the hope of getting me banned or my thread locked.

It looks like you feel seriously intellectually threatened by me, considering how much time you put into following me around the forums and derailing my threads. Even your attempt to "correct" me about Chinese was a complete failure as you weren't even aware that both Mandarin and Cantonese are Chinese languages, which made you look like an outright muppet.

By the way, did I mention that I am speaking YOUR native language right now, and English is just my second language, which I learned playing CS
and World of Warcraft?

Whatever, dude. I tried to include you in my conversations, but there is just no point in talking to unreasonable online trolls and keyboard warriors. Hence, I am seriously not going to give you another chance now.

Enjoy your stay here. Maybe you'll find another fool who wastes time on your rubbish attempts to bait.

Learn Japanese instead, since that would open up more upperturnities.
If you want to learn Hindu because you always wanted it and is motivated for various reasons, then do what you are motivated for and do it.. (then you should not think to much about if its useful or not)

I did start a while ago, but then I noticed that Japan is not very open to foreigners at all...meh.
No need to get upset.

No need to learn any Indian languages unless you are personally interested. Most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ businesses and conferences in India are held in english even if it is exclusively among Indians.

Go for it if you want to start a business in India or for some reason want to move in here for a long period of time or have a genuine interest in learning Hindi. Otherwise, dont bother as many of us can understand and converse in English.

Also, Hindi although being the most popular, is not the only language which is spoken in India. We have 22 recognised languages as well as around a 100s of other regional languages.

Depends on who you interact with honestly. Most people these days can speak english, but people below a certain class or those who are uneducated speak hindi or whatever the language of the state is.

This isn't about not being able to communicate with people, this is about gaining a business advantage by speaking their native language.

People generally open up more when you speak their language rather than English.

Yeah I am aware, but as far as I know, Hindi is the most widespread. This is why foreigners usually learn Hindi.
