@ Indians on here.
Do you think it is worth learning Indian language ?

Does this language has future ?

I am seeking to learn an Asian language of a major country, I am not too interested in Chinese, Korean and Chinese but rather in Hindi, Pashtoo, Urdu, Arabic and so on...

What is your take ?

Is there a point in learning for example Hindi ? Since most people in India speak English anyway.

Just learn how to swear you paan chaud, that is good enough. Most Indians can speak english so just learn how to swear and enjoy the trash talk between the pajeets.

There is no "Chinese" language. There's Cantonese and Mandarin.

Not an Indian but I would say Chinese, even in my country it's kinda becoming a necessity due to business enterprising. I would say that I does have future, but that's just my opinion

Maybe you should look up how widespread each language is. If you are to learn a new language, it would be useful with one that can be spoken in many countries

But I will never end up living in China due to their absolutely extreme migration laws in the first place. Its far more realistic that my business expands into India for example and I live there.

I did.
But what is the point of learning a language of a country I am never allowed to live in or build a home in due to radical migrations laws (China) and communism

Didn't say they weren't. Said there was no language called "Chinese". It's like saying you want to learn "Mexican".

Wasn't it obvious that I was referring to the language tree ?
Besides, MOST people who hear " Chinese " usually want to refer to Mandarin.

But whatever, you are a troll and on my block list for a reason. Now crawl back into your block-hole.

Its is. Hence I said Chinese, which is what I was referring to.
Same as I would be referring to Arabic and not specify levantine or high arabic.

Looks like you aren't even fluent in anything but your native language.

Not surprised here.

I think Hindi is very popular there.

Learn Japanese instead, since that would open up more upperturnities.
If you want to learn Hindu because you always wanted it and is motivated for various reasons, then do what you are motivated for and do it.. (then you should not think to much about if its useful or not)

Have no need to master another one.

If the need arises, I will.
