The flat earth theory has merit, here's why

Space simulators such as Star Citizen and No Man's Sky and other games simulate gravity and physics artificially through code, but behind the scenes these games and simulators are created on a flat 3D space / grid. If we're living in a simulation, the same rules apply. Gravity is artificially coded, and the universe would be a flat grid. When flat earthers say gravity doesn't exist, they might be right. Because if we're to assume this is all a simulation, then it doesn't exist. It's just advanced code to make us believe we're stuck to a round sphere.

I'll entertain this despite it being a silly turdpost. A "flat 3D space" still perfectly supports three-dimensional bodies. Curvature of 3D space is a support for general relativity and measuring the size of the universe. It does not say "stellar bodies need to be pancakes". Curiously though the universe has in fact been measured to be just as flat as the cartesian 3D space we use in game engines, though whether we lack the resolution to truly map it out remains (and will eternally remain) unanswered.

Gravity indisputably exists and the relevant question is whether it's a force or an emergent property, which is where GR and quantum mechanics start to clash. Science aside though, it makes little sense to exclude gravity in particular as "non existant because it's code" when you're proposing that everything is a simulation: if everything is code then ostensibly nothing "exists", therefore pointing at specifically psuedogravity as the key to supporting your theory is nonsense.

Earth could very well be cube shaped. Developers often simulate planets via cubes turned into spheres in code as it's much easier to implement planetary LOD's with heighmaps on a cube than a sphere.

Wait, you are talking about Flat Earthers then go on to use a completely different conspiracy theory to explain how Flat Earth makes sense?

It doesn't matter whether this is a simulation or not, we can make observations and measurements to prove that the word is spherical. The flat earth theory just doesn't stand up.

And we can even measure gravity so accurately, that we can disprove any of the flat-earthers theories. For example, the flat earth accelerating upwards. If it was that, then gravity would be uniform over the earths surface, and it's not.

I think you have to ask yourself why would anyone lie about the shape of the earth? And how could those people keep it a secret? I mean there are millions of amateur astronomers in the world, and you suppose they are ALL lying? What about all the sailors who have gone round the world. They are lying too? And the pilots. And the astronauts. That's a lot of people lying.
