It's their diet, their exercise regimen, and their overall stress levels. Which is to say, every single bit of that is out of whack.

Then again Gen Z isn't even in the double digits and what most people call Gen Z are truly just the youngest Millennials. Generation is 25 years, where as the marketable definition is whatever a politician or advertising executive thinks is useful for their agenda.

It's fine though, most people use the marketable and thus wrong one. I'm not going to correct people unless I get to be the suzerain of mankind.

True. If you read about what society looked like in the past, you'd see things that were worse (life expectancy, food security etc.) and better (sense of community)

The problem with modern society is that it becomes increasingly unnatural, the natural law being replaced by artificial frameworks of bureaucracy. You can't roam freely because of borders and property laws - something that our ancestors and animals, which we ARE, used to do and should have the RIGHT to do. Inability to freely roam leads to psychological damage. Instead of providing food for yourself through nature directly, you are FORCED into an even more unnatural environment (factories, skyscrapers, offices etc.) to earn cash to be able to buy things you need to survive. Anything that provides food or benefit without payment (fruit trees, medicinal plants) is eradicated and put behind a paywall. Nation states -- an unnatural construct -- is waging war on nature to keep itself afloat.

If this keeps going, I believe society will descend into mass psychosis as things start to unravel. All you need to see is the rate at which Gen Z is becoming NEETs - one in five. If you thought that was bad, wait until you see gen alpha, which is the first of many generations that will be forced to live in a world where almost everything of real value has been destroyed to keep this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worthless sham piece of ♥♥♥♥ "society" going.

I've seen endangered species be killed to make way for construction of nursing homes. God forbid we don't ♥♥♥♥ up the world for future generations to keep a 90+ year old grandpa going for a few more years.

Oh, and the increasing population will lead to even more competition in all spheres: Job market, dating sphere, education etc. If you think we'll peak at 12, or 13, or 15 billion and decline voluntarily... think again.
