mostly mr. oizo. I liked Justice for a while but a cross the universe was their one good album, it was a liveshow recording, and I find christian iconography conceptually problematic. it's hard not to think justice had some kind of ultranationalist sponsorship at some level.

and afaik that's a transparent and well-documented issue in their music industry, same as everyone else's.

I guess there's dat punk but they feel more universal and less french. could just be their influence level, idk maybe france wants some of that legacy. y'know more than just the facts.

anyway, lately i've been listening to luke vibert and Jean-Jacques Perrey's moog acid on and off.
