I used to get a lot of hate messages for using AI in my art from all sorts of people; a few that turned into crazy stalkers (messaging every few weeks). It didn't take long before people started requesting artwork and commissions later. The hate messages toned down a lot now.

I wouldn't trust it to not steal concepts or ideas from me to help other people. Art then becomes less about a single artists expression.

Seems like it could lead to a generic pablum for the masses.. the way AI matches you with browser searches it kind of ends up shaping you into a comfortable mold of its design.

edit add - I can see how people looking to sell stuff might like it since it is also shaping others opinions on what to consider art.

Peoples are always afraid of the unknown, always have been. any change has to be slow cause of ... well... democracy. Instead of implementing something good, each and every idiot's ideas have to be considered

I am not afraid of the AI, but i hate it. Depending on artificial things, always erodes both the value and the potential, of the original thing.

People should train and sharpen their mind, senses and overall abilities; not depend to software and dumben down their capabilities.

The main merit of human, is the human mind. If the industry produces dumbened down "originals" and second-rate byproducts, they will notice at one point all by themselves! But it will be too late.

Besides, progress and (scientific) breakthroughs, should always have safety measures applied around them, methods of viability and revolve around equations that secure the whatever profit, doesn't jeopardize the "source". Even if "token" and in a "placeholder" fashion...

losing jobs to AI which to be fair will happen. Ive lost half a job to Ai or rather it works for me controlling all my 3d printers so all I have to do now is line up prints and remove completed from the bed.
