Do you wash your groceries?
Like milk, drinks, frozen pizzas etc... you know - for hygienic reasons!

No, they're all in packages so there's no reason to. Fruits/vegetables, yeah wash those because those are directly touched.

But no one is opening a frozen pizza box to touch the pizza inside it, otherwise the box is open on the shelf and you'd grab a different one anyways
What about the people that made and packaged the food?

with water and soap? question is do you wash the milk carton too, or just the milk inside , or both?

I put a water filter in my milk jug.

not unless I eat it.

so the package.. nope.

but a can i drink from.. yes.

or fruit I eat yes.

stuff thats inside packaging I consider just fine and safe.. I tend to wash my hands before eating and each time I touch something during cooking.

so I care that that what directly enters my body is clean.. germs spread by a can I place on my cubboard shelf.. are no bother to me.

I draw the line at washing cereal boxes. Too far!
Well plus you might accidentally wipe off the maze and dot to dot on the back.
Of course. Like... the external wrappings of these products have been touched by various people and workers who obviously didn't wash their hands after handling money, touching the ground, touching some driving wheel that carries all sorts of germs, etc etc etc. And you touch the box of the frozen pizza and then you touch the actual pizza and other foods, or stick your fingers in your mouth.

And that's how you get hepatitis or dysentery or tuberculosis.

I use water and dish detergent to wash everything that is made of plastic and can be washed, and obviously the fruits. The problem are the tiny fruits like grapes or strawberries, then I just take the risk, not gonna wash each grape.

Personally I put my fruits in the dish washer and wash them @ 60 degrees for 2 hours... with dish soap too... come out really clean at the end
Putting a water filter in your jug sounds dirty.

Yeah baby, gonna put that water filter in my jug. Awwww yeah!

I literally have a solid silver water jug. Doesn't need a filter because of the silver, and is also quite healthy. But then it did cost $1000.

Y'know what, fair enough. I didn't think of that.
