Edit: I’m sorry about the previous very offensive title and starting post which straight up go against What this thread is about, talking about intolerance and racism with possible ways to reduce them.

Immigrant attacks, issues

I'm willing to bet your people showed up at their place uninvited, first.

that's racist; europeans aren't a homogenous block of raiders pirates and brigands.

the upper crust doesn't do any of that, and as many as 1% of the people coming in on the boats were upper-crust and even had some money left over after the voyage.
europe isnt made up of immigrants as much as america

we are a mix of everything so we are more tolerant while europe sent off most of its people elllsewhere but didnt take as many in over centuries

Honestly probably the best explanation I've gotten yet.

I guess it may also be a reason why USA is more innovative than europe, like more accpeting to new ideas as well maybe having more need to innovate early on?

europe undermines innovation with dominance and established trade relationships.

the us' cannibalistic corporate culture, which doesn't have to engender any care for anyone, is much more suited for exploring and testing innovative ideas.

when the uk began exporting racism in the 16th century in order to divide people along racial lines for economic conquest, the US didn't exist yet.

and yet America inherited the institutional racism and the UK gave up on slavery and racism long before Americans ever got it into their head to stop treating their African-American population like dirt.

America can't claim the high ground on the issue, they are still dealing with all that racial nonsense and it doesn't help the political landscape fractured enough that there will never be a full reconciliation with the descendants of African slaves brought over by European powers, UK included.
The U.K. gave up on racism? Lol. It's not like they wanted to support confederates during the Civil War. What about the Bengal famine?

oh I somehow didn't see this post how strange.

the UK has stopped exporting Racism as a specific good. they merely reap the rewards of a now-ubiquitous culture of Racism, such as exploitng trade differences between the US' North and South specifically to cause the Cvil War. that these differences were due to racism were, in Britain's eyes, incidental. happenstance.

generally speaking when the US attempts to resolve the economic inequalities in its sphere of influence, whether these inequalities derive from race or not, the UK pushes back and threatens to crash their economy.

"it's not about race though; honest! :P" is the typical sly limey conceit, offered like an uncooked snail on the world's dirtiest wooden platter.

Yes europeans may do better in certain ways such as dealing with economic inequality, but seems to do signficantly worse at dealing with other cultures and in general discourage racism.

In my experience, Europeans are a lot less racist. Do you know why?

Because we don't have to mention the skin colour of a person in every bloody article, post, movie, conversation or wherever.

Whatever I read from the U.S., the skin colour is constantly mentioned as if it was of relevance, here we don't do that at all.

Now that being said, Europe is a continent. What country are you even talking about ? Every country and culture is completely different over here.
Don't you think what you do is somewhat racist? Considering you are denying European countries of their unique identity ???

Furthermore, in most European countries, we are raised and live amongst actual foreign cultures, while in the U.S for the most case, people from " various countries " live there since generation and aren't actual foreigners anymore.

In my school class, we had around 16 different nationalities, students with 16 different passports, languages and so on, how about you ?
How did it go in your class? Other than some class-mates that claimed they are " Norwegian " or " French " while not speaking a word of those languages and never have been there. lol.

That is true, although it also give information about how well those "groups" are doing which can help see issued that is possibly tied to racism while such information is probably harder to find in europe so I'm a bit mixed.

Although I'm no idea why USA actually do that, is it unique to that country or do other countries do something similar?

I also live in Sweden and not USA.

Yeah I get your point, but this is a completely different discussion since there is a huge difference in perception and experience between lets say Germany and Poland or Russia and Italy and so on and on.

Me and my wife are both from European countries (She is Ukrainian, I am German, while I also lived in other EU countries, she never really left her country).

Her perception and opinion of " foreigners " is completely different to mine. While she notices a " large amount of foreigners or different cultures " in her vicinity, I almost do not notice it anymore because for me its completely normal to sit in the same bus with like 5 people from Turkey, 3 from Morocco and so on..for her thats a completely new experience and she does notice it a lot.

If not any of this is positive or negative is a completely new topic.

Why the U.S does the daily racism thing (because this is what it is) ?

I won't comment on that as I am not an American.

Both USA and China invest more of their GDP in research and development than european union

Wahou, you hate the euros so much that you responded to yourself. Triggered in your own topic ? How, dear, how could that be ? :)

Some news you noob : europe accounts for 25% of research and innovations worldwide. With less funding that china or the us or India or russia. You're really special you know, arguaing about the 1800th then arguing about current now just after. Kisses on your massive forehead.

When I'm in voice chat with Euros, it's always hilarious how racist they are to the point of hating people who are also the same skin color just because of a title or country of origin.

Like, ask a Euro their opinion about "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" and ho-lee-crap the things you will hear!

Meanwhile, you ask an American about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and they will say something like "Oh, the sexy fortuneteller ladies, and the dudes with the dancing monkeys that live out of traveling road show trucks? They're pretty cool! But I've only ever seen them in old cartoons."

That's just one. I really can't point out much more because of steam censors, but the typical "Brash American" is tame in comparison to some of the crap I've heard on Euro servers.
You have a VERY specific group of people with wich you play, with VERY specific gripes Oo But is that all ?The gypsys ? Nothing else ?

Europeans insist they aren't racist but you just have to ask them their opinion on Romani people to see that racism come out. Or about Turks, especially the Germans. Germans really hate German Turks, even the ones who have been living there for generations and despite the fact that they were the ones who rebuilt the country after WW2. Wild how that is really.
That kinda wild to hear, where have you been to have heard that ? =D Please, dont answer me "everyone says it ! Everyone knows it".
