I'm an optimist because I believe that it will create happiness for me. I love looking for the beauty in this world yet I still acknowledge how cruel it can be. We have no need to worry about the burden of expectations, and there is no greater purpose in life than simply living it! It's nice to always have something to be thankful for, you know, and seeing the good in my life makes me believe that more positive things can happen!

Pessimism has it's place and sometimes it's the only way to approach things. But that's too much of a mental drain for me to be around for long.

Sometimes to be an optimist when theres nothing to be optimistic about, the body must suffer. Or the mind.

And if theres no one positive in your life, which there may not be as a kid, you may have to look at positive people who are dead and remember them. Or you have to use positive imaginary people.
