There's a retro game shop near me that I like to go to.
It's called sage mantis game haven, they got some cool ♥♥♥♥, vintage pinball machines, pc cafe, got a whole area in the back for tcg competitions, and games from any console generation.

I did, still have it. Can't get into it though. Maybe I'm just ruined because I started here. The selection, the interface or whatever, I just really like it. Everything else be damned

Drm free goodness is great. Less of a hassle to preserve my games than here. There are two tools which are great for steam games if they have steam drm but on gog you also get the offline installers. Steam also has drm free games by default. I like both stores but gog has more options if a game gets released there
