Alt accounts are for people insecure about having different opinions that aren't in the majority of a forum

Lots of people in here do not understand what I just said though. It's quite incredible to me. It isn't hard.
Mains are for conceited narcs. "Look at me and my perfect online identity! My steam level is over 9000 so I am the best! Look at all these achievements! Private accounts are plebs!"
i have an alt account that's exclusively used for games on my laptop when i'm away from home. i never use the account on forums anyway, so it makes little difference to me if it were prevented or not.
Lot of them are also hacked accounts, trolls use them for propaganda after the account has been cleaned out.
Um so they are normal accounts? What makes them a "paid alt" ?
