I dont know what kinds of contract I have agreed to when browsing porn site. others I dont very much know, never read users agreement.

some people has work-around for there one sided user agreement, most people dont.
and yeah, the agreement one person accidently signed, can affect his life greatly. it can affect everything.

the thing one person read about, the group he keep in contact with, all means things for people.

I can only hope, people know what they sign up for, and get profit instead of hurt.

Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter already using ID as verification. It's a matter of time that all social media websites will be like this.

No, it's a security measure. Facebook isn't the only social media websites that do this. Even though Facebook was the first to do it.

What? I've never seen that in any website.

Should be illegal until internet security breaches are a thing of the past.

It doesn't really matter tbh. Have you ever purchased something online? They do have all your data and probably sold it by now.

Considering it's facebook and Zuck we are talking about, it's definately shady. Two things can be true at once, it can have a security aspect while still being shady since these companies likes to track people (also it's not that we are important, we aren't, they just get money from directed advertisements and stuff, and the more data they have the better they can direct said advertisement).

Also it's one data breach away from going from security to a massive security issue.

Homes get broken into all the time, does that mean you should leave your front door unlocked and standing wide open?

Not yet but only because certain sites have blocked the multiple states that have passed laws requiring it.
Acetyl Apr 20, 2024 @ 2:29am
Never heard of it.

That's probably been going on for at least 20 years now. Only recently has consumer grade means of faking it in realtime for stuff like livestreaming, become available.
