I pay enough taxes, that's responsibility of the government.

That being said, if I were a millionaire maybe I would help some people. But I'm far from that :WH3_greasus_rofl:

Can't get high in a shelter. It's pretty much the same all around the world, many people would rather live in the streets and have their fix than have a place to stay without drugs/booze. It's also worth noting that in many cases people became homeless due to drug addiction, so maybe it would be better to attack the root of the issue.

Fun fact but a handful of homeless people are homeless by choice.

I have frequently given up my homes for homeless people and went to live on the street instead of them. That way they can do all the crack cocaine they want at the comfort of your home.

It's the selfless thing to do, and shows you are a good person.

fix the root cause of addiction and mental issues and the rest naturally follows as a benefit. But use your judgement and if the person genuinely looks like they need food or clothes or not an exploiter for addiction money go ahead and definitely help

Everyone deserves a second shot. But I wouldn't take in any homeless person.

But as a society we need to be asking painful questions on the real reasons why a person is homeless in the first place. The do-gooder and lefty's want you to believe the homeless are homeless due to the greed of the rich and capitalism and nothing else. But it's more complicated than that.

Someone who is a drug addict needs treatment before even being considered being housed in the community, the mentally ill need to be placed in hospitals and have round the clock care.

In my opinion, we are dealing with the homeless crisis all wrong, instead of trying to house drug users, violent people, mentally ill in homes (all these need other forms of help first). We should first be dealing with the people who fall on hard times who have been evicted or about to lose their home due to no fault of their own.

Then on top of that, we need more homes to be build even new towns and cities where working people can afford a place to call home.

I would even go as far as rounding up all addicts and mentally ill and putting them in camps for their own and the communities good. Only then can they be treated and rehoused once treated.
