So... the 'Star Wars: Outlaws' trailer dropped. Can't wait to try it. Be a dashing rogue in an open-world Star Wars galaxy? Sounds fun.

lol. No. Absolutely not. Any trailer that hides any and all gameplay is maximum sus.

$70?! $130 for a digital "special" edition?

Not sure how Disney remains under the (false) impression that Star Wars is a hot property. They ruined it.

You can tell by the trailer the overall game was designed by a leftist committee. Checks every box:

• Strong female characters
• Diversity
• Main character is a slightly-ugly woman
• Men are evil
• Unnecessary cutesy pet
• Ignorance of Star Wars
• Women in positions of power
• Girls that have to be "tougher" than men to advance

What's left? Fat acceptance, LGBTQ, and socialism. (I'm sure they'll get to that in the story. There's no way they won't.)

So, what is in this for the male audience?

I miss the days where you could buy a dope-ass game for like 20 bones and pop it into your console and play no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Now we got shady publishers like Electronic Ass and Boobysoft to worry about. The woke thing is more of a Disney problem. Oh and also I have to open a new mortgage to afford this game.

It uh... Yeah. I'll be waiting for the Quantic Dream Star Wars game, if anything. Which likely won't be all that great, since David Cage definitely won't be able to write anything outside of his imagination, but it might be O.K.

A lot of attention is won or lost on the protagonist reveal. You gotta create somebody compelling.

Star Wars is dead. Literally the only thing that gets any sort of hype from this franchise are re-releases of games made 2 decades ago. Imagine telling someone heading into theaters to see Phantom Menace for the first time that Star Wars would go from an absolute cultural juggernaut to bargain bin/straight to streaming in less than half a decade.
