A classic, I owned multi versions of it. Still never beat it.
FRAC?

I remember that.
The first PC game on my own PC was WarCraft II. Followed by Unreal Tournament 2004 and World of Warcraft.
Those count, though the Macintosh I got access to in 2nd grade prior to being sent to another school district because the local one could not handle my puddle drinking and howling at the sun doesn't.
First one I played at home? Well, that would probably be King's Quest or Space Quest II. Also known as the two reasons why I dislike point-and-click adventure games and tend to avoid them. Thank you Sierra, very cool. Very nice that those were the only games which came with the Tandy 1000 my mother was given by a friend of hers.
Then eventually I was given a Windows 95 PC by a classmate in middle school which came with SimLife and SimCity 2000. Then once I got internet access via NetZero dial-up, my brother proceeded to install Kazaa and brick it. The replacement I was made to share even though it was my computer my brother broke.
But it was always about everyone else, never about me.
Are you sure you're following the instructions "first PC game", and not first computer game / video game?
He didn't ask about your first Steam game --- he asked about your first PC game.
Ibrahim (Jaguar) was my go-to pick.
