Personally from opinion and experience, courtesy and manners is ranked higher than ever before as it's become almost rare.
Here in Australia, I hold the doors for ladies and it's always appreciated and seemingly rare. Sadly it's an uncommon gesture now.
A true gentlemen:
- Helps other men
- Does charity work to improve his neighborhood
- Uplifts his children to become upstanding citizens
- Teaches that loving thy neighbor will lead to peace on Earth
I only hold doors for men. Not for women.
You forgot that a man should not only have Greek God body, he should seek the mastery of philosophy and the arts as well.
I think only of the film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
The first would be...?
Stormfront?
4chan.
You should treat people well because it’s the right way to treat people, not because you expect some kind of response or recognition.
Or don’t. Y’all do you.
