If you can cover them most employers don't mind. Face tat's are different if they are working with customers. Most people will not approach a sales person with face tat's because they give off the vibe of leave me alone. Them type of people will usually get hired for back room stuff like unloading a truck.

face tattoos looks quite silly, but having tattoos on arms or legs is perfectly fine.

A couple of decades ago fine dining wouldn't hire you for a visible kitchen job (such as a kitchen that can be seen from the bar or dining room) if you had visible tattoos.

Today it adds to your credibility as a serious chef, sous chef, or cook. Even to other chefs. They're like "You don't have gauged-out ear plugs, a beard, and tribal tattoos? Are you even serious about this, bro?"

I'm not even kidding.

No it doesn't add any credibility. People with tattoos will tell you that most employment would tell you to cover it up or you're not getting the job. Some professions outright ban any type of tattoos.
