In your OP -- why did the plurals "fursonas" and "tattoos" get an apostrophe, but not "avatars", "kinds", "skeletons", or "spiders"?
Even a fourth grader should know that an apostrophe is only for possessives and contractions, and not for plurals. It's not a symbol that means "Look out! Here comes an S".

Today it adds to your credibility as a serious chef, sous chef, or cook. Even to other chefs. They're like "You don't have gauged-out ear plugs, a beard, and tribal tattoos? Are you even serious about this, bro?"
