update: drake dropped a response earlier today

one line essentially said "if i was a nonce why am i not caught yet" and another bar made fun of kendrick for being taken advantage of as a child (which is insane because kendrick literally said he wasn't on one of his songs)

i mean they both did it to get their careers. i don't see why they wouldn't make a fake beef out of it too.

kinda comes across as a media misstep though; then again kendrick does like to push boundaries in self-destructive ways, is obsesed with ego and power, etc. all clearly documented in his raps, along with admissions that his raps are significantly less ironic than they appear.

idk about the person overseeing his releases though; they probably have a new job now.
