Slipknot Vs Mushroomhead.

Mushroomhead is known for their fusion of heavy metal, industrial, and alternative rock. They often incorporate elements of electronic music into their sound.

Slipknot, on the other hand, is recognized for their aggressive nu-metal sound. They are known for their visually striking masks and intense live performances.

My personal opinion from what I've seen, MH is more dedicated to music and conveying a message through their lyrics. Whereas SK is more about selling an image to angry fat kids who hate their parents.

What are your thoughts? Do you like this kind of music and do you identify specifically with either band?

I like Mushroomhead more. To be fair, I'm a bit biased, because I live in the same city as Slipknot and I know how (most) they are in person. The only members I've met I can stand are Joey, Mick and Sid. Corey's a pretentious douche who let fame get to him, Clown's just an edgelord who goes above and beyond to act like he's actually this deranged dude, Corey's son (know he's not in sk, but let's face it, his relation to Corey is the only reason anyone gives a ♥♥♥♥ about his band) got too touchy with my friend when she was drunk and didn't stop until she yelled at him.

Mick's honestly probably the nicest. He used to do a bunch of promotional stuff with Slaughterhouse (a haunted house exhibit my girlfriend used to work at), so I've had a few conversations with him about horror games and guitar gear while waiting for her to be off clock. He's one of those guys that are hard to have a conversation with unless you have quite a bit in common with him, which is why I assume everyone thinks he's intimidating. But yeah, I personally don't understand how he can stand being in a band with Corey or Clown, since he seemed to be kinda annoyed when anyone brought them up.
