The math kind of says we might be though.
If there is one real reality where a true universe exists and then somewhere within that universe, a computer that is powerful enough to simulate another universe exists, then there's no reason why that simulated universe would not be able to, eventually at some point, have a simulated computer able to simulate another simulated universe within that simulated universe.
That's a bit of a run on but when you do that enough, the odds of being the "original" reality becomes pretty small.
In the end though, your actual existed reality is still something you need to deal with so it's a moot question.
