I think if the men are happy to be paypigs however, and they know that is the deal, then it's not so bad. It's like gambling, drinking or any other kind of adult entertainment. As long as people know the risks and understand what they are getting into whether buying or selling something.
There are lots of guys out there (and women too) who are too old/ugly/awkward/obnoxious to have any hope of getting any attention in real life. If there are women out there who are willing to sell it to them and they are willing to pay then I don't think it's a big issue. It's less exploitative than prostitution and gives the creators a degree of protection.
Most of the problems occur when people do not understand or respect the arrangement and they expect that it will lead to a real date, or that a girl will sit on OF and chat to them all night. That is the kind of attention you will not get through money.
if you're a good entertainer, people will watch u.
you dont have 'tv' anymore, and the news is fake. so we're back to being bards and jesters.
the nsfw cam stuff is just being able to enjoy going to the gentlemen's club without needing to leave the house.
We are talking about "simping" here, and I doubt these guys know the rules. Lots of them develop obsessions or deep feelings, hoping it will lead to private chats or even meetups (and more).
Kind of the same as a Twitch mod for a "just chatting/bathtub girl" who looks up to his streamer as a god and puts her on a pedastel, hoping he could one day breathe the same air as her.
(For example, the famous videos "I´m a mod btw" or "Twitch mod gets a kiss").
"Simping" ain't good, none of these content creators care about you, your feelings, or have any grain of respect for you.
The same reason why people subscribe on Youtube, Patreon, Twitch, and other services for whatever content it is that they enjoy - they want to show appreciation for & help support the creators so they continue creating content.
----------------
If you regularly enjoy the content that someone creates but are unwilling to throw some money their way, that doesn't make others simps - it makes you a cheapskate.
