Any Good SOCIAL - MMO? Games?

Do you all know any games that have a focus on SOCIAL? I have played mainly VRChat but I am getting very tired of the mean, toxic, and "degenerate" community.

The games I normally play that don't have other humans playing are usually Visual Novel games with choices. I don't like violent games.

The only MMO type game with that I have played was RuneScape but I got tired of having to randomly kill creatures or fight in the game to get levels. I don't like that stuff now.

A list of games that are multiplayer that I have played from oldest to newest: Runescape, Gaia Online, Second Life, Animal Jam, VRChat.

Worlds I usually frequent in VRChat are Nature Worlds, Game Worlds, and just worlds I think are cool. But I usually don't talk to people or anything. I usually use chatbox/text to talk as well.

So do you all know any good Multiplayer Social Games that I can use to make friends or find a potential relationship?

Destiny 2 is very fun but only once you get to the mid game where all the build crafting and raids open up, the latter of which requires social interaction and you can definitely meet some nice friends in those moments.

Killing Floor 2 is very fun because it lets you play on a team of up to 6 people with different roles (classes), and to me it feels like Overwatch 1 without the pvp elements. The community may not be very talkative unless you find the right lobbies but they are so positive and welcoming and the core gameplay is so satisfying and fun.

If you like pineapples on pizza, I recommend you join one of the many, very friendly Alien-themed servers. The moderators are *super* chill, and you'll have a ton of fun!

If you don't, then just join Fulpstation or something.

Can also confirm that you don't need a Steam account to play it as I participated in the beta prior to it getting onto Steam. Can also confirm that there are degenerates and that includes gay furry ERP in public chat. Otherwise, it's a so-so game. Not one I'm returning to ever given that the Night Market event was my last straw.

I got to max level with Hunting and possibly Mining though so there was that. All without having to really interact with anyone.

I played Final Fantasy XIV a long time ago,
& I met only 2 People who spoke English,
& I was entirely on Japanese Servers...

I've never played A Realm Reborn, though...

I know, cause their Names were not readable on my Keyboard...

More like single-player with some co-op when people need to use others.

So they turned wow into dark souls? People used to raid and pvp in huge groups all the time.

Then there is also the fact that I haven't played since FF14,
The likely chance I could catch up with whatever Story
the Game is on now before the Game shuts it's servers down??

Oh, it's one of those type of Games...

Your in a Server that is like Grand Theft Auto 5,
but a lot older style as in Runescape like Servers...


So if your taken to be like one close to you,
the Server can actually be Full, & you can't access it...

The older Final Fantasy XIV Game
actually had Servers where you could
actually Speak with People on the other side
of the Planet, & did not have to worry about
Connection Issues...

Try Transformice. It has a very social community, you could go to the village and talk to people there or you could use the miniforum in the game called Cafe.

Social MMOs are sadly hard to find nowadays.

Personally I like New Club Penguin.
- The community is pretty active, too!

Yesterday I found another game called Frog Paradise.
It's still in alpha but I'm excited to see the further development of it!

Other than that there was Bearwood Park which seemed pretty promising but the project sadly got canceled. :(
I don't know if they will revive the project in the future.

FF14 is one that people have recommended already. never got into it as much as PSO, but it's neat.
