Not all but most. I know the country pretty well and racism is well tolerated, accepted and integrated into societal beliefs there.
Yes, I have noticed this, but it starts with the parenting... If the parents are complete racists...
Racism is bad and shouldn't be tolerated, however, I don't think it's as simple as you say. I'm positive not everyone who is on the side of Ukraine understands the depth of racism in that area. Additionally, those that do see both issues might be prioritizing an anti-war effort over an anti-racism one for the time being. People can only spread themselves so thin.
I am not saying that everyone is.
I am saying that racism is more prelevant now and very popular in all slavic countries, even before the war, lets leave the war out of it for now.
What makes me angry is that its being tolerated here, in fact, why would I want to support people such as Asov brigade, that is know to be a bunch of racist ultra nationalists.
did you just make this because your war thunder thread got locked
Buhhuuu, so what ?
Europe has also always been invaded by Asians and Northern-Africans, this was ages ago and you using this to seriously justify racist with modern people thousands of years later is quite the joke of the day.
So indeed, education is key.
No.
not most, but a few.
you only met a few and generalising on the rest in the hopes to make it stick. you don't know it's a societal norm. Furthering the point your example of generalising is based on your claim is your experience in Ukraine and yet you say it's an Eastern Europe thing.
Let's assume for the argument you are right and most of them are like this, You think every nation from Russia to Turkey, Turkey to Albania and Croatia to Poland and every nation in between are all filled with racists?
that's a lot of generalising to an unrealistic amount when you have literally only met a few to make your basis off.
This is how science works my dude. You don't need to speak to every person in a country to come to a result.
You don't know me, I have travelled a hell a lot, I lived in Ukraine and stayed and worked in multiple other eastern european countries, not last but not least my wife is from an eastern european country. Basically every individual there was racist, except for 1 or 2 exceptions.
I am not generalising anything, if you would know these countries and talk to people about this, and they get comfortable with you and let down their cover, you would know. But you dont.
I talked to thousands of people there btw.
You are not even making a point other than " racism is alright because they had issues with asians thousands of years ago ".
And no, they are not being invaded by asians nor by north africans...lol.
Thousands out of how many in Ukraine and how many the rest of Eastern-Europe? Science indeed.
Are you new to life ?
When you live in a region and country, you catch the social believes there. its common knowledge that racism is perfectly accepted there.
