Now an international mass Cèilidh, on the other hand...
I have attended some in the past, but refused to go to most of them due to my poor dancing skills that'd needed to be polished.. And I've got different priorities, so if I ever attend some, then I'm gonna be a guest who's there to observe and discuss various interesting topics, to talk to the other people.
One can see different sides of a person whom they're used to know and see all around.
I've meant to say, getting to see different sides of the people whom you've thought you knew is interesting, just like how open minded most people get there.

Reminder that the Blue Danube Waltz is lovely, but REALLY overdone and cliched now. Also, if there's no silly hats like Royal Ascot, it's boring.
A highschool prom would probably be improved by waltzing in silly hats. Despite what some people might think from that one Simpsons episode, "Burlesque" is more than just stripper smut. The heart of it is taking high art and creatively debasing it with not-so-high elements. But art it remains.
