The most toxic fandom/userbase

What fandoms or userbase are the most toxic or weird? I'd say MHA fans are off the rails, and 4chan regulars have a 50/50 chance of being chill or complete psychopaths

Weirdly enough, one if the most toxic fandoms I've been in was the animal crossing twitter fandom. I found many nice and cool people in there, but there was just. so much controversy and people getting cancelled for "stealing" other people's design ideas, or just for the stupidest reason ever. I always stayed out of the drama as much as possible, but my god, the amount call out posts on my timeline. Also the space buns incident. If you know, you know.

There's a fandom called Off Topic who have a ton of friendly people who likes have a chill discussion about politics.

I like MHA. I'm not very active in social media so I'm not aware of what other fans do though. Likewise I'm not aware of any fandoms that I particularly dislike. When I do meet a fan of any fandom whom I don't particularly like or agree with, I treat it on a case by case basis rather than generalising the whole fandom on that.

on steam tho, it seems like it doesn't matter the game; you'll always have rapid fanboys harassing you for criticizing it. I see it in the comments of negative reviews often

there are reasons why every time i start the game, i always pick boone as early as i can, and no, this has nothing to do with them being femboys.

I left the TF2 forums after a massive argument that, I and several other users got in, shut down 3 threads in the same day. The argument was about the legality of cp. I was arguing against it ( cause cp is horrible ) with other users, but it still got ugly.

i kinda wish it's a generational thing. titanfall 2 to me is like that game is to those unfunny people who think they are enlightened by merely playing it.

this also implies that titanfall 2's fans are also unfunny, but they are my unfunny people
