Why do men get called "incel" for staying chaste?

throughout history, women have been praised for keeping their chastity safe. But nowadays, some groups criticize men who don't want casual relationships and prioritize their chastity. They label these men as "incels."

Why can't they just respect men's choices? Why is it so bad for men to stay chaste?

oh I know plenty of happely married couples.. my parents were together for over 50 years.... my elder brothers have been married nearly 2 decades.. most my friends.. my age also 15-20 years..

it's just me who is the lonely one... for now... I still hope that faith will change.. but I do hope it happens soon enough to still have a family... I mean 41 to start a family.. is still possible.. but it should not take another decade before I find the one..

Incels are NOT men that want to stay single.

Incels are men who are single but want to get into a sexual relationship, and blame the fact they cannot get into a sexual relationship in everyone except themselves, especially women and sexually active men.

Nothing wrong with a desire to be single, lots of men - and women - do not want to marry or date.
