Why do men get called "incel" for staying chaste?

throughout history, women have been praised for keeping their chastity safe. But nowadays, some groups criticize men who don't want casual relationships and prioritize their chastity. They label these men as "incels."

Why can't they just respect men's choices? Why is it so bad for men to stay chaste?

Well you can't know if they are ever going to, can you? They might be bad at dating but they can find partners in other ways. Happens all the time.

Another Idea I tie to it is "Tyranny of the weak" Such as where prisoners take over a prison where they were mistreated. Then hurt the officers far worse than they ever were, and feel not remorse because it was "Justified"

Personally I find Victim mentally very interesting As it can ruin a persons entire life. Because you can be hateful to those who might help you. And ungrateful to any help you do get "I deserve this! And more!" Like a person with it can want other people to give them free money forever, and take no responsibility for wasting the money they already got.

It varies from culture to culture.

Under the arranged marriage system in other countries, men are typically virgins when they marry and stay with the same woman.

Western culture has become very promiscuous and it is facing a birth rate crisis that they aren't facing in the global south.

if you are chaste you just want no sex till marriage.
If you cant find a woman willing to marry , than in a way you are also incel.

(which is a thing today cause woman screw around more.. but are far less likely to tie the knot.. thus thus is actuall harder than it used to especially if you want a chaste woman too)

I may be a chaste christian... but I always wanted to marry at 21 start a family at 23.. here I am 41.... single..
