JoJo became a seinen after part 7 started so probably if they will release the next parts too it will be a seinen not a shonen anymore.
On the other hand I have read that animating part 7 with all the horses involved would be a big problem (big financial problem) so they were not sure if they will be able to do it or not.
Not that I care too much since for my personal taste I'm not too much into the reimagining that strarted with part 7.

Personally art styles and such mean a lot to me. But a lot of people may not care about that kind of thing. It's all relative.
