You could technically play Nintendo games on Steam. There is the emulator.
It's just that you need roms, which are illegal to obtain by simply downloading from the internet.
sony did the right thing tho especially when sony is already that big to begin with
sadly that's not the case with nintendo. there's always one option for that
should i mention about how their in house consoles are some of their main income? that is also some of the consideration. and no cut in profit too because it's their consoles.
Also, apparently, nobody on PC knows what "mario" is, because the titles they did put on PC barely sold any copies, and almost nobody seemed interested in them.
