Yes. But hard to get the mix correct.
Until relative recently homophobia and transphobia was in decline and tolerance towards the LGBT community was growing.
Then something changed towards the end of 2019. An increasing amount of folk somehow found more time to become outspoken on social media than they had before. They began to demand more and demand it faster than society could give them enough of what they demanded. This affected all larger groups and subcultures of society. The smaller the subculture was the more they were impacted by the push back of the majority of society.
Regarding the LGBT community who kept adding more letters: Instead of slowing down on what they demanded of the rest of society and focus on all they had accomplished since the start of the gay rights movement of the late 1960s / early 1970s they doubled and tripled down on their demands. The pace of their increasing demands started affecting and impacting the lives of the straight community and families.
Is anyone surprised that the straight community and straight families started to push back against the LGBTQ+ community?
I know what that was that happened in late 2019 that gave us more time to become overly outspoken on social media but that is a topic for another thread because it will sidetrack this thread.
Because the LGBTQ+ community is starting to split up because the less left wing leaning members have taken notice of how damaging the extreme left wing and "loudest" part of their community has become with their increasing demands of straight society and straight families.
"right wing"
all of you are just idiots, i sit in the fuselage of the aircraft like a normal person.
it's way comfier and i get in-flight snacks.
it's annoying
So it's pointless to talk about "left vs right" when discussing regular topics because unless you're a fascist, most people agree that everyone should have the right to their viewpoint, even if you disagree. Asking why people might have a certain viewpoint is perfectly valid, but that doesn't mean those people aren't valid for having them. As for socialism/mixed economy vs capitalism, everyone will have an idea of how to better run a country's economy. It has NOTHING to do with the right to have a differing opinion.
Monkey see, monkey do.
I'm buying this.
That is Gestalt psychology. You have a want for more kindred minds like yourself. You find yourself frustrated in that aspiration. Therefore you underestimate the presence of your kindred souls.
can't tell if it's because it's rare to find communists there
As wanton of just being accepted by this prestigous community of the forums as I wanted to be before the backlash against my poor hobbit self....
I disagree now.
Because I bet a poor person from Columbia will be getting more cocaine in their baggy than a rich person in London and the Colombian's fix has not been up a persons butt.
BUT treatment yes they do get access to the best of it the rich people that is.
"Do this for me. Then do this for me. DANCE FOR ME. So I can type some LOLs."
It should be a "law" at this point.
Masque's Law: "Whenever an internet comment mentions a left-wing political ideology, in under ten comment replies someone on the left-wing will demand definitions of terms BUT also proclaim first that no definition given will be accepted because everyone is stupid and they're the only super smart one."
Am I left or right?
because I used to ask people to define them.
