Pitbulls are the most dangerous dog breed by far. Like VERY MUCH by far.
They are genetically pre-disposed to being dangerous killing machines. There are sweet ones out there, but there were also sweet ones out there that snapped one day and mauled a baby.

Tbh I have been attacked and bitten by German/Belgian shepherds plenty of times before, if they were Pits/Amstaffs things would have ended much worse for me.
Think for a second what the average pit owner is like, and consider the fact that many choose to raise them for the wrong reasons and do not properly train/control them.

Learn to protect yourself against dog attacks btw, they're no joke and can be a nuisance to recover from.

Dude, 99% of pit bull owners buy pit bulls not because they are such cute cuddly dogs but because they have complexes they need to compensate for.

Had a fellow female student, a cute, small girl, she owned a pit bull. One wonders HOW she is supposed to hold that damn thing on her leash once it goes mad or why she would buy it in the first place ?

Aren't Pitbulls 3rd place in terms of dog attacks?

Tbh, I personally find Pit Bulls to be bloody ugly, there is nothing cute or beautiful about these dogs. Sure, I feel sorry for these animals when they get put down without doing anything bad, not their fault they are born like this. But I never understood why people buy these dogs, especially families....

Do people enjoy when everyone is filled with fear as soon as they enter the park or area ??? Are people not aware of this ?

They should rather get a German Shephard if they want protection.

an ex navy seal taught us a way to keep them off

instead of presenting the side of your arm to block

shove your fist down their throat

told us that the dog is not going to mess with you after

was never sure how serious to take it

then i read a story about a man who did this to a bear and got away

right?

you never see a headline that says

"we knew he would kill someone, just didn't give a ♥♥♥♥"

it is always how sweet the dog was and all that

Also they are 1st place in fatal attacks too, with more fatal attack instances than the next 5 more dangerous dog breeds.

I'm with you on that one. It's usually the worst kind of human being and the most irresponsible.

It may sound like a scary thing to do, but it works well. Instead of resisting, push towards his mouth or throw something you are wearing as a distraction.
Pepper sprays and a good kick to the chest or face work well too, of course.

One does not need a navy seal to know this, I know this since I am a 12 years old boy.

Now that being said, are you going to kindly ask the Pit Bull to please let you stuff a fist down his throat ?

The thing is just gonna bite your leg, or into your sides or worst case face, upper arm, hand, neck. There isn't much room for you to do anything really.

Only thing you can do is offer your arm, with your venes being directed towards you so it does not bite right into that.
However, with a biting force of 235 pounds of pressure per square inch, your bone is crumble like a salt cracker and the dog is gonna wiggle on your arm like its a toy.

if then you are still tough enough to stand up against it and not madly hitting the dog with your other hand, you should use some sort of tool to puncture its eyes, nose, skull and so on.

There is numerous theoretical ways to get the dog off, but realistically in practice, the dog is gonna have the upper hand against you unless you carry a decent knife and are ready for a bloody fight.

Do you want that ? Well, I don't.... Besides, this is the scenario if you are a strong man, its gonna look grim for a child or a woman to be honest.

I rather have these things banned so I don't have to worry about my kids and family in general, not everyone is a viking warrior like us.

I have a labrador. I tried that pushing into the mouth thing, it does not really work. He just goes back or gets pushed back and then attacks again, this was only in play fighting lol. A Pit Bull is not gonna let go, as simple as that.

There are numerous vids on YT you can watch. You have no chance.

why would you try that for no reason
AerSilver ♞ 2024 年 3 月 30 日 下午 5:11
Forgot to say that if the dog has a collar/leash on, you could also choke it and cut off his oxygen by pulling it upwards, that also works. Just whatever you do, minimize the risks to yourself as much as possible. Recovery from deep bites can take a while and leave nasty scars.

I looked up some stats. (Forbes.) They do say pits are the most fatal, but not more so than the next five combined. (More recent years might say otherwise.) Rottweilers were 2nd.

Also, supposedly Alaska has had the most fatal dog attacks of all the states (per capita).

Big dogs + long, treacherous drive to the hospital = RIP

Because me and my dogs were always fighting quite hard and we both know when and where to stop.
Obviously you are not a dog owner.

You need to get behind the dog for that, otherwise its not gonna work and its gonna twist and bite into your forearm.

Also you need a ♥♥♥♥ load of strength for that when it comes to large strong dogs like pitties.
