There are a lot of shallow men out there. They will pay big bucks for the beautiful girl, it makes them feel better to show her off in public. I was literally told this by a co-worker. He said taking his pretty girlfriend around in public helped his negative self-image.
On the other hand, I enjoy cooking on my own, so I wouldn't really care about my partner not cooking, if that was the case. I don't make a 100k though, so I don't think I'd be dealing with any gold diggers lol
They is a meme on facebook that shows a woman laying a settee inside a dirty uncleaned house while the husband is out working all day long. The motto reads along the lines of 'you work all day and come back to this, what would you do?'.
In the year of our lord 2024, If your in a marriage or relationship then both parties need to make a effort, both need to be able to cook, both need to be able to iron clothes, both need to clean etc when one slacks then the relationship starts to fall apart. This isn't 1970 anymore.
Really angers me knowing some guys/women will work the butts off at work, putting in overtime and killing themselves only to return home at night to a wife/husband who doesn't work knowing no food has been cooked, house hasn't been cleaned, beds still un-made etc....
I fully understand if both parites are working and one is having a chilled day but both need to put in a effort.
Life has dealt you a rubbish hand. Time to gamble that hand and level up to better things. But your correct, hard work isn't rewarding.
My best friend's brother is like that. The wife doesn't work, nor does she pay any bills. He comes home after a 14 hour workday. Then he needs to clean her mess, make himself dinner, and start doing dishes. The bed is never made. He's also raising 3 kids that are not his. The last kid was from a Chad she cheated with last year. The other two are from her previous boyfriends.
He deserves the Simp of the Year award.
