The Forgotten One from Castlevania Lords of Shadow. That's also horrible. Very difficult and annoying, especially on the highest difficulty.

Idk why but all of the games I play make the penultimate boss harder than the real final boss so I'd say Ripper from Turbo Overkill. she teleports and moves 3x as fast as you, and forces you to use a hitscan rifle with a tiny projectile hitbox. she's also the same size as you, which means she's smaller than any other enemy in the game. She loves to circle strafe you at the speed of sound and you basically have to use the bullet time feature to have any hope of landing a hit.

The final boss, Maw, on the other hand, can be killed by spamming the sniper rifle and rocket launcher, and can have one of his 15 phases killed in literally 5 seconds. oftentimes I kill him so fast that the game doesn't register what I did for a while, so it's more of an endurance fight than anything else

The Super Contra final boss. But you need the arcade version, not the horrible NES port. Only the arcade version will do. Its difficult to play though, because if you have a widescreen display, you have to turn or tilt your screen 90 degrees, to get the proper aspect ratio. And instead of keeping your screen horizontally, you place it vertically, and instead of using it as a wide-screen display, you must use it as a high-screen display.
