Northgard developers literally restriced map editor to steam. GOG version doesn't have this. It has been years since map editor was released.
That's their choice.

Messaggio originale di Brokenrite:
Developers design how mods will work.
Making mod support is one thing, making mods is another as users make the mods.

Messaggio originale di Brokenrite:
"Expansions" are artificially cut content. It is a scam. When you download the game. You download all the files but people can not access it in the game, because scam artist designed it this way.
Wrong. Many games come up with these things later, so if it never existed though they may make a very vague idea to make an expansion later, aka making more content-hours and giving the game some new life. You seem to have an axe to grind because they're not free.

Set your game library & hours to public.

Well, maybe you should too, why not?

This would be as well;

I'm confused, what does that have to do with broken games? Are these broken?
The OP believes that any game that has DLC is "broken" and "a cut content scam".

Interesting, in which post did they say that any game with dlc is broken?

It's just a sealioning attempt. Best to ignore.

Well, isn't sealioning equivalent to trolling? Best to report then.
Seriously, it's ridiculous how this guy works.
I've never seen anyone do this before.
Maybe it is a bot.

Messaggio originale di Brokenrite:
Clear indicator are "DLCs" on the disk/within months/couple years(e.g. AAA developers) is cut content scam. pre-order "bonus" is cut content scam.
"Expansion" pack is a cut content scam.
Season pass is cut content scam.

You can not have more than 100% of the game. So calling it "extra" is false.
or "free update." Also false information. People had to pay for the game. Developer must fix broken game. Would you buy a broken car? Or any type of broken HW that would work exactly for warranty period and then soon aftewards would stop working because manufacturer decided so, because they run planned obsolescence scam*?

Like I said multiple times. Everybody should get the same game. If developer and publisher have a fiat money problem they should ask for optional donations without rewards. Their main focus should be developing, fixing games and not how to scam people.

For example I'd like to donate for some game that is actually free. But I can't because Valve haven't fix things order to developers to fix artificial cut content like they supposed to.
On the other website where game is also availble payment option is missing.
Also I would buy more on Steam if they didn't force me to use steam launcher that also artificially blocks people from using windows 7 despite many games work on windows 7.

*fortunalty in one case it an easy fix and device still works +10 years.

Good to see you again, davidb11! Where have you been, old friend? Anyway, I assume that you mean the user repeatedly replying to the op? I must agree, who would have time for that?
imo game related problems are game journalism problems, people buy review articles that dont explicitly state that it was a spoinsored review which most of the time makes you purchase a bad product,m not big deal in most countries with high salary, but giving like half or full month of pay for some "scam art" ie a game like call of duty with actual 30 percent score is not that fun tbh.

Well, apparently some people are misinterpreting what's written there.

It is a known fact that certain dlc's/expansions are actually cut content from the base game, for example:

No article can tell you if YOU will personally like the game or experience problems. They can only go based on their personal experiences.

Well, this article must be fake then?

User reviews =/= review articles(that was stated).

Yep, having your employee's leave fake user reviews is not paying a reviewer to give you a favorable score.

I mean i wouldn't be surprised if it DOES happen somewhere sometimes. Its definitely not typical. What is far more common is that they have people on staff who just favor certain companies and have a bias though
