Also you gotta learn to sleep on your stomach, so the demons can't mess with you as much.

I don't think so. Lilith was the big bad in "The Secret World" (at least until she was taken away by the Nephilim in Chapter 11; don't know whether any new content was added later) -- but, praying wasn't a thing anyway, and eventually she appeared in person. Still, as a bit of twisty fate, the final confrontation with her is actually the player protecting Lilith from attacks to hear her story -- and, of course, to keep her distracted so the Nephilim could arrive unnoticed to bind her. I don't think anyone could actually defeat Lilith, including the Gaia operatives, so that was a sensible conclusion.

Satan is more of a general background baddie; I don't remember specifically fighting him. Baphomet doesn't really ring any bells at all.
