When two people are together for many years, one or both of them get too "comfy." He started using hardcore drugs the last year we were together. Then he stopped going to work altogether.

So I was stuck paying all the bills. I found out while I was at work he was bringing random people into our house and having fun with them. I had enough and I left for good.

Seems about right to me. In my foolish perception of the world, I believe a lot of people value feelings way too much over building trust... Feelings come and go... Trust remains forever.

You've already made up your mind, so there is no point in sharing anything here. Next time, try to come more from a place of inquiry, not judgment straight away.

Ive said that based on the brief investigation of the topic i did some time ago. A distance relationship has its problems, mainly mental health, but it doesn't mean it can't thrive. Same with things like tinder, in general, its just way more healthy to seek relationships by getting to know people in person.

But just because im saying all of this it doesn't mean no one's allowed to disagree and tell me exactly why im wrong.

Also, i never asked whether it was good for you or not, just the personal experience of users of off topic on whether theyve done it before, and how did it end.

Dating apps like tinder is fine because at least you meet up in real life. But if we're talking strictly online, I don't if I trust that. When I think of online dating, I think of the players dating in VRchat but never EVER meeting in real life. Those kinds of people are literally living on the internet.
