It's how rich people keep the gold in the Family. If you can afford it, do what they do, hire a lawyer and do a Family Trust, put all high priced possessions in the trust. Protected legally from seizure. As for who can stand to live with family and who cannot, when pretenses fall, you'll see how little trivial crap you've been fighting over.

What is bad is that these adults often are NOT living at their parents again -> They are living with their parents and in "some" cases certainly the opposite actually meaning the parents are actually living with their kids and a piece of paper does not magically turn things around ;)

It's insane how many young adults don't get this and feel shame for doing it even though they should be annoyed their parents are still alive

I think it is natural. I retired at 27 so i dont live with my parents but i dont look down on those that do.

The rich have def invested alot into property and they are squeezing the wealth out of people who need shelter.

the situation is bad in many countries, 3rd and 1st world countries can have bad housing that forces families to live together.

Ok. Here are a few reasons:

1. You are incapable of getting a good job that would allow you to get your own place. This makes you look like a loser.

2. You can't do stuff with a girl in your parents' house. It gets...very awkward.

3. You are still under the boot of your parents and have to do stuff for them and have to obey their house rules. Do you know who has to do all that?! A CHILD! Are you a child?! That also makes you look like a loser.

4. You can't have friends over or parties while your parents are in the house. Do you know who also can't have those?! A CHILD! This once again makes you look like a loser.

Now I know there are good reasons why an adult would still live with their parents. Like low income or maybe you actually need to take care of disabled parent(s), I'm just saying how it looks like to strangers and why it's being frowned upon.
