Many American women are now seeking relationships abroad in foreign countries, with some citing the toxic dating scene in the U.S.

What are your thoughts on this? Have American men ruined their chances with their attitudes or are women now simply dating broadening their horizons in a global world?

modern woman, like the idea of full ratio 100:0 if they no longer enjoy you they disappear without you having more chance of giving her a headache. if you choose someone near by and then you discard them it will be hard to deal with them duo the real life issue, but if it is someone far away you can always disappear and let the other person suffer without them giving you a headache or anyone knowing your true face and your history. they can just re-write the history make you the villain and re-make the same scenario.

As an outsider I've always seen America's dating scene leaning more towards materialistic and egotistic motives (money and status) but thought it could just a stereotype i.e. I'm not in America so it's hard for me to judge.

Well it's true but there is more to it, one reason for this is because serious American men who want a serious marriage are actually finding wives overseas and bringing them to America in greater number than before. Pissing off, a significant percentage of American women who are themselves toxic and then go try and do the same thing.

Also lets be real A CERTAIN percentage of men are toxic anywhere in the world. Am I saying American men can't be Disgusting...no. But to say that all American men have messed up is Hyperbole.

It's just a phase people go through, with the Internet connecting people many find things in common with people further away, also I think for some it feels like a impossible feat or a difficult challenge that makes it more exciting.

Picking up a local girl at the bar all your friends know, who dated people you don't like or do like, is one thing.

Picking up a girl over seas seems to be more mysterious she might be a local bar wall fixture in her home town like the girl next door to you, but you aren't hearing stories from your mates how she let The local rugby team pile on

And "foreign" is pretty vague. I can't imagine many women wanting to date anyone from the middle east. What geographic location?
