Debate Quality Pyramid

Boy, do people on here ever suck at debating. Even when they have blatantly lost and it is clear to see, they're still going to try to wiggle out of it and pretend like they actually won.

The pyramid of debate quality can solve a big part of that. It makes it easy to gauge where a discussion is at, which of the participants has the upper hand, and in the best case scenario, how to get back on track.

As roughly 99% of the users here seem to have absolutely no clue about any of that, I say it should be pinned to the frontpage.

I wasn't referring to the topics, I was referring to the posters, myself included.

I seriously doubt MENSA has a large contingent in here.

If someone thinks that you need to be "good" at debating implies that it's a competition that needs a winner and a loser. That isn't debating; that's explaining to others why you're right and they're not.
