Yeah it seems interesting. Tbh i think i only watched The Pianist which is pretty great imo, but the aforementioned and Rosemary's Baby are two i wanted to watch.
Haven`t seen much of his stuff other then Scanners, The Fly, Existenz and A Dangerous Method.
He made some cult classics but not much in recent times.
Well can't go wrong with A History of Violence and Eastern Promises, both being excellent and a pretty good introduction to his movies (at least the more recent ones).
My brother is a big fan of The Pianist but I never really liked it. Then again I never liked most of the Holocaust movies. Too much of worst that humanity can offer.
Yeah not something you want to rewatch that often honestly.

Sidney Lumet 1924-2011[www.imdb.com] was a awesome director and only got a Academy Honorary Award in 2005 for his work
All video's above are Sidney Lumet directed films
I'll be buying some of the titles mentioned above especially prince of the City and Serpico
Lumet's underrated. That dude got the most out of his actors and dialogue. Never pretentious, even when he's tackling big ideas. He's like the antithesis of Jean-Luc Godard
