it's not like their schools are similar to ours.

In the US there's public education and private schools for the rich. Politicians don't do public schools.

Mismanagement of the economic value of the resources

Rampant socialism

Lack of economic incentive to compete leading to minimal efforts resulting in decreased production quality and decreased production quantity.

Lack of economic planning and economic vision

Laws being passed that destroys the economic incentives for innovators and business owners to stay in nations that heavily tax businesses or heavily regulates businesses.

Populations that want to punish innovators and business owners or population hating on or being envious of folk who are successful in life.

Pretty much. Sounds alot like california at the moment.

In western capitalist countries... It always amazes me that the most poorest of people are always hating on the rich, the innovators and business owners. It is in fact these people that allow poor people to receive benefits which otherwise wouldn't exist without the rich.

The more I look into how taxes and money works, I get more and more shocked and upset because money flows upwards.

I watched interview with some top accountant and they explained. The more you make ways to punish the super rich with more tax, the richer these people become and it's infact the rest of us are the ones who end up paying.

No billionaire is going to hand over $50 millions a year in tax. What they do is their will invest that money or buy property or even move the money around to offshore accounts etc, they will have accountants and experts telling them what to do. And over time, that investment will only increase in value and it's simply rise and repeat. The ones who end up paying are the middle earners.

The game of socioeconomic evolution is won by the nations that rewards the smartest and most streetwise players.

Back in the 70's, Joe Biden said he refused to send his kids to public school because he didn't wants his kids to associate with Black kids. Very racist of him, and very few people today remember this.

Haiti is one country that always remains poor, despite the hundreds of billions of dollars thrown at it. Outsiders always blame the politicians, but the citizens are to blame as well.

The citizens of Haiti have ruined 99% of their land, making it impossible to grow food there. During the Haitian earthquake of 2010, people turned against each other instead of helping each other. People continue to have large families without the means to feed themselves. It's the perfect case of humans looking for more problems instead of looking for solutions.

IMF, brain drain aka "human capital flight", and the good ol' standard political corruption, & the "legal" political corruption aka lobbyism by Corporations, special interest groups, think tanks, etc.

Plus of course the corporate or national level media playing their role in fomenting good ol' Divide et Impera aka divide and conquer. Then there's the coup d'etat promoted by external countries / Corporations or internal agents that want local Corporations to take over certain sectors of the country ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A good YouTube channel that offers 15 minute explanations is Economics Explained, run by an Australian economist. Dr. Thomas Sowell explains the continent of Africa as well.
